Rhema Bible Church was founded in 1979 with 13 people in attendance in the home of Pastor Ray’s parents, after he returned from Bible School in the USA. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Ray McCauley, Rhema was one of the first churches in South Africa to defy Apartheid laws and have non-racial church services an example of what was to come in the new South Africa. It remains one of the most influential churches in the world. Today it proudly has a strong multicultural and multiracial congregation with tens of thousands in attendance every weekend. Being obedient to Jesus, and His command in Mark 16:15-20, to go into all the World and preach the Gospel to every creature. Growing and maturing in our relationship with God, His Son Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and The Word, according to Ephesians 3:14-21. The House to be built for the LORD should be of great magnificence and fame and splendour in the sight of all the nations. During this time it is expected to have in excess of 50,000 delegates pass through the facility. Delegates will include visitors from various parts of Africa and also many overseas visitors.
