Land of Oz Nursery School and Playgroup comprises of two campuses, Fourways and Chartwell catering for 250 children: Friendly and welcoming place. Includes Classrooms and Outdoor play areas as well as Therapy Centre. Implementing a rich and appropriate curriculum, consistent with Biblical principles. Our children have become highly qualified professionals making a difference in the workplace. There is a strong Christian ethos which has encouraged a warm, happy and safe environment for both parents and children. In 2007, a second branch was opened in Broadacres, providing the community with another dynamic environment for learning. It is indeed a pleasure for me to introduce myself and the Land of Oz Schools. Land of Oz is a loving, caring and affirming environment in which each individual is respected and valued both the big people and the little people. We genuinely care about the children, they are a special gift from God and are the most important people in our school. We work together as a family in the education of the children, we engage our parents, we have an open-door policy. Our teachers are well trained and qualified to deal with every need of the children. We run an exciting play based programme, where children can develop their perceptual motor skills, which lays the foundation for all formal learning to happen. Our daughter Genna is an Occupational Therapist and our son Brett is a doctor. Tim was instrumental in starting HeronBridge College in 2001 and is currently the Executive Head of the College. You know your child is happy at school when they ask to go on the weekend. It’s such a special place where parents can be assured that their children are being loved, nurtured, considered and educated in the most caring and passionate way. Land of Oz has been such a happy and fun time for both of our boys (and their parents!) It was a privilege for my children to be able to attend a Christian Nursery School, where they were shown God’s love, and how to live by Christian principles. We have been at LOZ for 3 years and it’s been the best decision myself and my husband made about our girls education. The entire staff compliment from Colin at security to Maureen our Headmistress are filled with love, care and passion for both the families and children that attend the school, making it a secure and happy learning environment.
