As part of our end-to-end manufacturing solutions, we provide comprehensive services in plastic injection moulding. Our core focus within our business is the manufacture of cost effective, long lasting injection moulds and press tools. We off servicing of old tools, tool repair or modification along with the design and manufacture of new tools. Wire cutting is a process that uses a brass wire and electric current to profile cut work-pieces. The process is extremely accurate, with tolerances measured in microns, and can produce very fine detail and square corners. Blanking tools, extrusion dies, jig and fixture components can all be made using this process. Our machinery is capable of cutting not only straight profiled cuts, but tapered cuts and cuts with different top and bottom shapes as well. Ian Brown Engineering recently began rebranding itself under the Supertech name, we have divided the company into multiple divisions to make it easier to separate the many industries we cater to. Our company, a precision engineering and toolmaking firm was registered in 1988 as a general concern specialising in precision engineering and tool making. Amongst others, we specialise in CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Conventional Turning, Milling as well as Surface Grinding. We have extensive experience in the manufacturing of components in any type of material, including stainless steel and tool steels. We currently offer services to various companies, where we manufacture prototypes as well as the production of high precision components. We assist with all of tooling and die-making needs, as well as maintenance on production moulds and dies.
