Psychological Registered Counsellor dealing in family issues, addiction work, employee wellness, coaching,  stress mngmnt, couple counselling, Bereavement, Anger mngmt, trauma counselling, Adolescent issues.  I do group work dealing with Life Skills which can be varied.  I use the Solution Focused counselling within the Client Centred ethos.   I find my rooms are very centralised for those people based in the areas around Northgate down to the surrounding areas of ClearWater Mall including Honeydew as I am just off the C.deWet Rd.

Counselling can be an effective way in giving people the skills to cope. Can be extremely rewarding to work toward the restoration of sound family relationships. In today’s modern high pressure world in which we live it is very difficult to de-stress. Counselling can be an effective way in giving people the skills to cope and more importantly to make your life meaningful. Coaching as well can be seen as an invaluable tool of educating people in their day to day lives and in their working environment. We know that the job market continues to be very challenging & stressful. This is why it becomes more important to maintain a supportive loving home life. It is goal oriented and looks at the present and a future aspect of the clients working life (predominantly). This does not dwell on the psychological side of the person. We as Registered counsellors are registered with Board of Healthcare Funders as well as the HPCSA by which the invoices/receipts we issue can be claimed by yourselves from your respective medical aids. If you do not belong to a medical aid then it is advisable to retain and submit with your Income Tax return. We are often bombarded with statistics regarding the breakdown of marriages. There are many reasons cited for this happening, but your main goal is to ensure you don’t become one of those statistics. Counselling can be seen as a productive journey involving you, your partner, and possibly your family together with the Counsellor as being the players of this journey, with the main aim being the restoration of sound family relationships.
