Apple Landscape has been active in the market place as a brand name for the past fifteen years. It is run under shared leadership, with Hjalmar de Waal as the founder of Apple Landscape. Hjalmar has been active in landscape industry for the past seventeen years. After qualifying himself with top honors as a Landscape Designer and Botanist, he furthered his knowledge and experience in London, France and Spain. After eighteen months of fulfilling this position successfully, he resigned to start up Apple Landscape in Johannesburg. Werner Botha, heads up the Johannesburg division of the company. A qualified Graphic and Landscape designer, Werner has worked in landscaping for the past 15 years and over that period successfully managed his own business. He has worked on various developments, which span across Southern Africa from the KwaZulu Natal South Coast to the Western Cape, where he worked under the leadership of Ray Hudson and Keith Kirsten. Furthermore, we install automated irrigation systems, construct designer swimming pools, supply and building of retaining walls from natural stone to loose packed Gabion-style wall designs. We also specialize in lighting installations, highlighting tree trunks and stone walls and various LED energy saving fittings for water features which are all part of the process that create a dramatic depth to your garden space.
